Farewell Yvonne
This week we say goodbye to Yvonne.
This week we say goodbye to Yvonne. Over the last 16 years Yvonne has played a vital role in the success of the MIS team, supporting schools firstly with RM Integris, and then rolling out, training and supporting schools with SIMS, Tucasi payments, ParentPay and the different systems now on the MIS framework.
Yvonne has been such a big part of many schools over the years and is so highly regarded. Here are a few comments from Schools on hearing about her retirement.
Although Yvonne leaves us towards the end of next month her last day in the office is the 3rd August.
Yvonne came to the service as a SOS Officer (School Office Support Officer) from Leyburn Primary, where she had been their office manager, and was a big advocate of our service. When we managed to get her to come and work for us we were absolutely delighted, because what she didn’t know about working in a school office was not worth knowing. 16 years ago we were using Key Solutions as our MIS system in Schools (Key solutions was bought out by RM, and is now RM Integris). Yvonne’s knowledge of the school office environment, her enthusiasm for helping schools, has been infectious and we cannot thank her enough for all her hard work.
Remarking on her time with us Yvonne said,
“I have had the best jobs anyone could wish for both working in a school for 16 years with all those lovely children, parents and teachers and then working for you and the amazing Schools ICT Team for 16 years, where I have had the chance to support lovely school admins and visit schools in villages I didn’t know existed in such picturesque places.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with all you brilliant, VERY clever, lovely people. Schools ICT – (NYES Digital) are an amazing support for schools and second to none ’cause we care!”
Commenting on her retirement Andy said,
“it has been a pleasure to work alongside Yvonne for the last 6 plus years. She was so welcoming and encouraging when I first joined Schools ICT in October 2015, and it quickly became obvious to me how much schools valued her support and how much she enjoyed working with schools. Not only have schools relied on Yvonne’s ParentPay expertise, but the rest of the MIS Team have as well. She constantly left us all with smiles on our faces through her enthusiasm and positive outlook on life, and she will be missed. Thanks for everything you have done Yvonne – it’s been a blast!!”

“I am emailing to let you know how marvellous Yvonne has been in supporting my schools. Her courses are excellent and inspired and motivated me. She has always been a cheerful voice at the end of the phone when problems arose. She always rings back with solutions and help and I have always rung her when OFSTED called and she always talked me through how to produce requested reports, even though I knew how but needed help under pressure! I don’t even know Yvonne’s surname, she’s like Madonna – everyone knows her by her first name. So please can these thanks be passed on to Yvonne….”
